EasyHotel has chosen DataRoad to handle the IT setup for its new hotel in Lisbon – Wi-Fi/Network – 24/7 IT Support, 365 days a year

DataRoad was selected by EasyHotel to install the IT network for its new hotel in Lisbon, which has approximately 101 rooms.
EasyHotel is owned by Easygroup, which is also a shareholder in the low-cost airline EasyJet.

The new hotel will be located on the corner of Rua de Santa Marta, near the Autonomous University and Santa Marta Hospital, a five-minute walk from Avenida da Liberdade and Marquês de Pombal.
easyHotel has locations in the United Kingdom, Switzerland, the Netherlands, Germany, Hungary, Bulgaria, and the United Arab Emirates.

The IT installation carried out by the DataRoad team covers all workstations, the network, printers, POS systems, and the hotel’s wireless network, which includes 38 wireless access points across the hotel’s seven floors. The configuration will involve separating the internal network from the hotel’s “guest” network, and a controller will be installed to manage and monitor the infrastructure and network.

Dataroad will configure the computer network using Gigabit PoE switches, with redundancy capabilities between internet service providers via a router, and with six existing racks on each floor and one central rack.

EasyHotel has also chosen DataRoad for 24/7 IT maintenance, utilizing our “unlimited” service for round-the-clock IT assistance and support.
