Serviced Apartments Boavista Palace in Porto has chosen DataRoad to implement and install its wireless network for the 72 apartments located near Av. da Boavista in Porto.

DataRoad designed and implemented a solution that provided each apartment with its own separate wireless network, isolated from the others, as well as managing internet bandwidth for each apartment.

The following services were performed:

Consulting services for the installation and selection of the best locations for wireless access points;
Installation and configuration of multiple wireless access points to ensure optimal coverage across all 8 floors;
Configuration and installation of a security gateway for internet connectivity and internet access redundancy;
Installation and configuration of network switches and wireless network segmentation (VLANs);
Optimization and configuration of the wireless network;
Future maintenance combined with monitoring and alarm services under a maintenance contract.
